Stephanie guided us through Clear Water Bay and Sai Kung and helped us to understand the area. She was extremely well-organised and attentive from day one, and certainly went beyond our expectations. When it came to assessing the different property options, her guidance was invaluable as Stephanie knows the area inside out. In addition, her knowledge of transaction structuring, the roles of the bank and lawyers, also made a difference, as were her insights on the neighbourhoods. With many years of experience dealing with property transactions, Stephanie certainly helped us avoid making mistakes as first time buyers in Hong Kong. If I can be brutally honest - I generally haven’t had great experiences with estate agents and don’t hold them in high regard. Poor communication, not listening, not being flexible (and many other things of you require a full list :) Ellen, conversely, has been amazing and genuinely made what could otherwise have been a stressful experience a real joy. From the off Ellen listened to what I was looking for, clarified my requests, and then set about showing me only properties I would be interested in. She was totally transparent in her thoughts on each instead of trying to ‘sell me’; she was super responsive; she flexed completed to my schedule and ultimately once we found a property I wanted to move into, I really felt that she went the extra mile not just to secure it but also get due diligence sorted and arrange all the start-up utilities etc. This may sound like an over the top note but I mean it with all sincerity.
