Gertrude was born and raised in Hong Kong and understands the nuances of each local suburb here. She moved to Oxford to study for her bachelor degree in accounting and finance, and lived in the UK for six years before returning to Hong Kong to seek job opportunities as well as to be near her family. As a result, Gertrude is aware that clients have different backgrounds and experiences that shape their expectations about property rentals and purchases. She takes personal pride in being able to quickly identify the key aspects of her clients’ needs and provide tailored options that can realistically meet those needs rather than just being another search engine.
After returning from the UK, Gertrude worked at a multinational investment bank, which required attention to detail and allowed her to develop her professional and communication skills. She eventually chose to establish a career in real estate because she is a ‘people person’ who enjoys direct interaction with clients and the ability to provide tangible results. Gertrude is also keenly interested in both Hong Kong property and real estate throughout the Asia Pacific region and regularly attends seminars on Asia-wide property investment opportunities.
Gertrude speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and working out.
