I am Nisha Nair and newly relocated to Hong Kong for employment. You might know the efforts and workaround required to settle in a new country. These transformations are only possible when we get the opportunity to meet the right set of people in every sphere of life. I am fortunate to have met Mrs. Ingrid Lau, who made my apartment search comfortable and seamless. As a newcomer, I was overwhelmed and worried about how the transition took place. Ingrid understood my requirements in terms of proximity to the workplace, appliances in the house, house condition, budget, etc. I wasn’t much aware of the regulations around tenancy rules, how to set up the utilities, etc. Ingrid helped me tirelessly and extensively, from assisting in viewing different apartments to the final move-in. Early last year Helena Lau very deftly handled the successful letting of our flat to the satisfaction of two quite fussy people! Immaculate paperwork too. In the interim all routine management work, not really OKAY’s province handled well too. Recently the very reliable tenant has sought to vacate early (economic reasons) Helena reminded her that the contractual notice period is two months! She has expended a lot of energy in endeavouring to find a new tenant. Quite a lot of messaging involved. Tenant has now decided to stay on. So your letting fee is now deferred! The important thing is that Helena maintained momentum-an important attribute. I think OKAY’s recruitment and training policy really shines through here. I hope management think so also.

As our realtor, Shirley has been dedicated and persistent in trying to find the best rental apartment that fits our requirements. This task has been made more difficult as we had to move during the 5th wave of covid lockdown in HK. Nevertheless, Shirley managed to secure a few viewings for us and we closed on a deal on our 2nd viewing. She was professional in her negotiations with the landlord and managed to secure an attractive rental package for us.
