If I can be brutally honest - I generally haven’t had great experiences with estate agents and don’t hold them in high regard. Poor communication, not listening, not being flexible (and many other things of you require a full list :) Ellen, conversely, has been amazing and genuinely made what could otherwise have been a stressful experience a real joy. From the off Ellen listened to what I was looking for, clarified my requests, and then set about showing me only properties I would be interested in. She was totally transparent in her thoughts on each instead of trying to ‘sell me’; she was super responsive; she flexed completed to my schedule and ultimately once we found a property I wanted to move into, I really felt that she went the extra mile not just to secure it but also get due diligence sorted and arrange all the start-up utilities etc. This may sound like an over the top note but I mean it with all sincerity. Shirley is absolutely the best agent possible to help you find a home in Hong Kong. She’s extremely knowledgeable, knows the business inside out. She knew what we wanted and provided a selection of flats that fitted our standards so we didn’t have to waste time viewing too many flats. She’s good at negotiation. She’s a great problem solver. We had some small issues and she solved them with good attitude. She’s very capable in many ways. We can’t thank her enough for getting us our dream home in Hong kong.

When I first arrived in Hong Kong, the housing market seemed very daunting. However, a colleague recommended Jayde and the whole process ended up being very painless.
