Originally conceptualized as a full-scale leisure resort in the mid 1970s, this pretty, secluded area on Lantau Island, near Hong Kong Disneyland, was transformed in the early 1980s into a private, self-contained residential development, known simply as “DB”. Spanning 6.5 square kilometers between Tai Pak Bay and Yi Pak Bay, it has developed into a low-density, child and pet friendly community that is predominantly favored by expats. Recreational facilities and nature trails abound, and a 24-hour ferry provides smooth sailing between DB and Central. Though private cars are not permitted, mini-buses operate within the enclave and larger buses run between DB and Tung Chung. DB’s well-designed infrastructure enables easy access to Central (by ferry, 25-30 mins), the airport (by bus, 30 mins) and Tung Chung (by bus, 25 mins) for onward access to the MTR.
After our tenant moved out of our Pok Fu Lam flat at short notice, we were in desperate need to make a decision – sell or rent. We sought the assistance of Rosie McCann, who guided as through the process, taking into account market sentiment and irrefutable residential property data. It was clear that renting was the sensible option.
Working with Rosie was seamless as she took photos for Okay.com, coordinated necessary maintenance and shortlisted tenants. We had a tenant and a contract confirmed in less than 2 months. It was a huge relief.
My wife Bernice and I would strongly recommend Rosie to any prospective tenant or landlord.

Very helpful, sourced a lot of good properties for us, and negotiated effectively and timely with the landlord, to get us a good deal.
