North Point is located on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island, and is comprised of both residential and commercial developments. The residential area is divided into North Point, North Point Hill and North Point Mid-levels. With the MTR Island line running through it, North Point is easily accessible from most districts on Hong Kong Island, and is about 20 minutes away from Central. Housing: Properties in North Point are mostly apartments in high-rise buildings along King’s Road, with some public housing estates on the waterfront. North Point Hill and North Point Mid-levels have smaller populations, and the properties are generally larger, with mountain and harbour views. Schools: Quarry Bay School is an English Primary School. It is a member of the English Schools Foundation (ESF). Chinese International School is found on North Point Hill, and runs the International Baccalaureate programme. Its primary school programme offers bilingual teaching in both English and Mandarin. The International Victoria Nursery is located on North Point Hill. Highlights: Throughout North Point Hill and North Point Mid-levels is a selection of supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores. There are also a number of traditional fresh food markets in North Point. Choi San Woo Park on Braemar Hill contains many recreational and outdoor facilities. The nearby commercial complex at Taikoo Place is a booming business centre comprised of 9 major office buildings. Many companies in the creative and printing industries tend to locate here.
