If I can be brutally honest - I generally haven’t had great experiences with estate agents and don’t hold them in high regard. Poor communication, not listening, not being flexible (and many other things of you require a full list :) Ellen, conversely, has been amazing and genuinely made what could otherwise have been a stressful experience a real joy. From the off Ellen listened to what I was looking for, clarified my requests, and then set about showing me only properties I would be interested in. She was totally transparent in her thoughts on each instead of trying to ‘sell me’; she was super responsive; she flexed completed to my schedule and ultimately once we found a property I wanted to move into, I really felt that she went the extra mile not just to secure it but also get due diligence sorted and arrange all the start-up utilities etc. This may sound like an over the top note but I mean it with all sincerity. Cherie is an amazing agent. She enquired about my requirements, was patient right from the start and was exceedingly selective in showing me the right listings that matched my requirements. Cherie did not push the transaction even though it was quite clear I had a strong preference for one of the apartments she showed me; instead, she expressed openness to consider the pros and cons with me and helped me settle my choice. We have known Dorothy Poon for 2 years now and there isn't enough I can say about how great she is. She has happily assisted us on two moves.
