Jewels of a thousand worlds beckon with the stars.
Can you, even you, deny their pleas?
Rubies warm and vital as that beats within your wrist,
emeralds lidless, blinking eyes of dragon;
diamonds cathartic ice, crying to flesh.
Some call it avarice, love...but yours is the touch
of kinship.
You are tigers' eyes, and onyx; ebony and pearl
---garnet and moonstone...
with diamonds for your breast.
